We had first organised this session as an extended family session to take place over Easter, we were going to have all of Brooke’s family join in so that we could capture everyone all together.

Brooke has a twin sister and she also has a little boy so to have their grandparents, grandchildren and everyone in between would have made it really special.

But then covid 19 happened and we had to reschedule, we left it a couple of weeks to see what restrictions were going to be put in place. Brooke lives in Victoria on the coast so they had to put their travel plans on hold.

Once the restrictions eased, we locked in a date and Brooke and her little family travelled to Hay. We went out to their family farm to do this session and it was so much fun!! Brookes mum came and joined in the fun and we were able to capture some very precious Nanny photos during this time. These are The Wade’s first family photos ever and I felt so privileged to be able to capture these for her.

Brooke’s response when she received the photos was some pretty amazing feedback too! “I am beyond amazed at how incredible our family photos on our family farm turned out. Sally was so fun and easy to work with and she was so good with our little boy. We felt totally at ease and I will honestly never use any other photographer again”

To me, as the photographer and getting that sort feedback from any client just makes you feel amazing!! I love what do and I hope to continue to photograph families for a long time to come! I am so grateful to everyone who puts their trust in me to capture their family photos
